Apple Cinnamon Doughnuts

 An alternate version of the applesauce cake recipe, it also works perfect with doughnuts and mini bundts!

2 cups flour
2 cups brown sugar sugar
1 1/2 cups cinnamon applesauce
1/2 cup Earth Balance, softened
2 egg replacers (3 tbsp ground flaxseed)
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt

1: Preheat over to 350°F
2: Mix all ingredients together until smooth
3: Grease doughnut pan with Earth Balance and fill just below the brim with about 2 tbsp of mixture
4: Bake for 10-12 minutes

5: Let cool for a few minutes, then flip the pan upside down and tap the doughnuts out

Makes: 12 doughnuts


Quick Cinnamon Frosting:
1/2 can Duncan Hines vanilla frosting
1/2 cup Earth Balance
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
